My grandparents and my aunts and uncles are buried in Kehillat Israel cemetery. I am the daughter of Hattie Rubinsky Spielman. My grandparents were Anna & Harry Rubinsky. I have only happy memories visiting Shenandoah. Proud of the site and now my past will live on forever. Thank you

This was great to see a site dedicated to our history. I have not been to the cemetary in years, but I know it will always look the same way when I return to visit;
Ruth Friedman Pierce - my grandmother
Aaron "Sonny" Golin - my grandfather
Irving and Jean Levine Friedman - my great grand parents
And many more.
Reply Very nice site!

What a wonderful website! My beloved parents and many relatives and friends are buried in the K.I. cemetery......and it brings back so many memories. Altho I was born in Girardville, we were K.I. members and I attended Chedar and Sunday school in Shenandoah. I had many friends there and this really brings back so much. Thank you for all the work that you put into this. Altho I have lived in Sarasota, Fl for many years, I often relate stories of my youth in Schuylkill County.
